Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics (HHPE) organized its 2nd Hitachi – Sullair Air Compressor Distributors Meet India 2019 at Dukes Retreat Resort at Khandala-Lonavala in Maharashtra, India on 27th and 28th May 2019. The meeting was attended by all the esteemed air compressor distributors from the country around. Dr. Kazuhiro Imaie, Chairman and Mr. Shintaro Oku, Managing Director of Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics Pvt. Ltd. chaired the meeting along with Mr. Naito Masanori of HIES, Japan & Mr. Michael Wen of Sullair China. This event was attended by total 30 participants. It was a great initiative to bring Hitachi Hi-Rel management & distributors at a valuable platform where they shared and registered their vision for achieving better prosperous future jointly.
Dr. Kazuhiro Imaie, Chairman of HHPE opened up a meet with a brief overview of the Hitachi group, its business areas across the globe and its results for FY2018 which was the most profitable year for the group. He also shared the wide spectrum of customers which Hitachi group caters to along with the vision and mission of HHPE business. At the end, he reinforced the group commitment to grow the Air compressor business and offered his continued support to HHPE distribution network.
Mr. Shintaro Oku, Managing Director of HHPE, shared HHPE business overview along with some important business plans which were being implemented so as to attain growth for HHPE in future. He shared that the business potential for the Air compressor business in India is very high and HHPE air compressor distributors should aim for a quantum leap in sales in the coming years. He reiterated that Air Compressor division is a focus area for the Hitachi group and offered company support to all the distributors to ensure for overall goal achievement.
Mr. Naito Masanori of HIES Japan shared brief on the product portfolio of the Hitachi range of compressors and the new technological upgrades in the products. Mr. Michael Wen of Sullair China introduced the product range of Sullair China including the new product developments plan for future. HHPE Air Compressor sales team also shared their business plan for FY 2019 as well as the last year results.
During the session, the eminent distributors and its associates were acknowledged by the management of company for their exceptional sales achievements, hard work and dedication towards business growth. Meet was followed by an open house discussion with the distributors where action plans were made to achieve HHPE sales target. The distributors also took this opportunities to express their views and shared their concerns and suggestions. During this meet, Individual meetings with distributors were also being arranged to discuss their 2019 target and action plans. The distributors present in the programme appreciated the initiative of the company and welcomed company vision for future plan.
On the whole it was an extremely interactive session with whole hearted participation from all with a common objective of growing the business together. Company received an overwhelming response for the event and got recommendation to organize such events more often.
