General Notice - Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics Private Limited (Hereinafter referred to as HHPE)

This General Notice be and is hereby issued on behalf of Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics Private Limited (HHPE) to safeguard the interest of the public at large against the fraudulent / malafide practices in the job market.

We request you to - Beware of Fraudulent Recruitment Practices. The best defense against fraudulent Job offers is you.

It has been noticed that fraudulent recruitment advertisements and job offers are circulating on the Internet or directly sent to the Candidates / Job Seekers by some unscrupulous elements forging Hitachi (HHPE) name/logo and trying to deceive by giving false promises of securing job in HHPE.

Our attention has been drawn to some fraudulent individuals approaching job seekers through illegal mobile numbers/ fake emails/ sms/ social platforms/ links on WhatsApp/ bogus websites etc. and offering job opportunities in HHPE. It is also clarified that no websites or agencies have been authorized by HHPE to accept any application for recruitment for HHPE vacancies. This is to inform that all the vacancies & recruitment in HHPE are notified on HHPE website career section and after following its well laid down merit-based employee selection process, offers are directly issued from authorised representatives of HHPE on behalf of the Company.

Please be warned unscrupulous individuals and agencies promising career opportunities at HHPE. HHPE does not conduct any job interview over any video chat providers like Skype or Google Hangout. HHPE NEVER ask for any payment, in any form or name, ‘recruitment fees’, ‘processing fees’, or ‘security deposits’ etc. or any money in exchange for offer letters or interview calls.

Any person dealing with unauthorised parties for seeking job opportunities at HHPE, in lieu of money, will be doing so at his/her own risk. HHPE will not have any obligation to honour terms of any fake offer letter issued, or provide employment to anyone who has been issued a fraudulent offer letter. Further, HHPE will not be responsible or liable for any losses (monetary or otherwise) including, but not limited to, theft / misuse of data incurred as a consequence.

In the best interest of proposed Candidates, the following Guidelines to Safeguard yourself against such fraudulent offers are issued, please be aware and do not entertain any such request/ offer:

How to spot a fake agencies / offer letter

  • They can/may demand a fee in lieu of a job offer or /interview opportunity with HHPE and requests for your personal information, like bank account details, PIN numbers, etc.
  • They may give interview location and invalid telephone phone numbers.
  • They lack proper salutation and are filled with grammatical and spelling errors.
  • They may also provide sample offer letters along with the e-mail.

How to identify recruitment fraud?

  • The person or entity solicited you, without you having applied for any job offers.
  • Offer related communications sent from email ID other than official HHPE domain i.e. (@hitachi-hirel.com). HHPE never sends offer letter from personal email IDs which are from domains like @gmail.com or @hotmail.com, etc.
  • Fraudulent job offers often ask for financial or personal information early in the process. HHPE does not ask for any financial commitment or contribution from a candidate at any stage of the recruitment process.
  • A fraudulent offer may ask you to book travel through a certain travel agency with the promise to reimburse travel costs or ask you to purchase certain office equipment from a certain.

What should you do if you receive such fake offers?

  • If you suspect a fake offer letter, do not respond and treat the email with caution.
  • DO NOT SEND MONEY.
  • If you think you have received a job offer from HHPE, contact us at careers@hitachi-hirel.com so that we are able to verify if the job offer is legitimate.
  • We strongly suggest you contact your local police/cyber cell and provide them with all information you may have from the perpetrators.
  • Save messages/emails from the perpetrator for further investigation if necessary.

By this notice it is brought to the knowledge of all prospective job aspirants to exercise caution and not to be misled by such false advertisements. Recruitment process in HHPE is based purely on merit.
