Job Description:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Research and Development Engineer specializing in Power Electronics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experiences in designing gate driver circuits, hardware design, and component selection, with a strong background in designing two-level and three-level inverters, rectifiers, and buck-boost converters up to 1000 KVA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop gate driver circuits, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for power electronics applications.
- Engage in hardware design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection to meet specific design requirements.
- Develop and implement designs for two-level and three-level inverters, rectifiers, and buck-boost converters up to 1000 KVA.
- Perform simulations and testing to validate design performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Integrate embedded and microcontroller-based systems into power electronics designs to enhance functionality and control.
- Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of designs to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, including schematics, BOMs, test reports, and user manuals.
- Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing, quality assurance, and field service teams to ensure successful product implementation and deployment.- Proven experience in designing two-level and three-level inverters, rectifiers, and buck-boost converters up to 1000 KVA.
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller-based designs, including firmware development and integration.
- Proficiency in using simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink) and CAD software for schematic capture and PCB layout (e.g., Altium, OrCAD).
- Solid understanding of power electronics principles, topologies, and control strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and firmware issues.
